If you are looking to do some sight-seeing, visit Walcott House. It is found in Castries, 9.1 mi. Northwest of central Dennery. It is intended to house many of his works, as well as a studio space where guests and creatives can create artworks, join in on writing workshops, and participate in a theater.

Another landmark that often intrigues visitors is Le Pavillion Royal Museum. It is located within Castries, 9.5 mi. Northwest of central Dennery. With a focus on the Government House of St. Lucia, the museum details the affairs the building and the governor Governor-General, and the role they have played on St. Lucia history. As the representative of the Monarch, the Governor-General has been the day to day manager of St. Lucia since 1627, and you can bet in the nearly four centuries that the office has played a role.

Historical Sites

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception

Do you enjoy exploring the history of places you visit? If that's the case, you should consider visiting one or two of these historical attractions during your stay.

Many travelers choose to visit Fort Charlotte. It is found 8.7 mi. Northwest of central Dennery. The large Fort Charlotte may be in ruins, but there is still plenty to explore. The fort, built in 1764 by the French, still maintains many of its walkways and staircases, as the site has been renovated as a community college and government offices.

Another interesting landmark worth visiting is Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. It is located in downtown Castries, 9.3 mi. Northwest of central Dennery. As the seat of the Archbishop on Saint Lucia, this cathedral has been a center of St. Lucian cultural life. However, just as the church as affected the people, walk inside and gaze upon the walls' and ceiling's decoration and see how the people have affected the church as well.

Government House: The Government House is open to visitors Tuesday and Thursday between 10:00am and noon, as well as from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, by appointment only. There are no open-house hours, everyone wanting to visit must call ahead.
