Vacationers looking for a beach that's right for them on Dominica will have lots of options besides Batalie Beach.
You might also enjoy Colihaut Beach, located just a little ways away. However, if that's not exactly what you're looking for, Salisbury Beach offers more action, and is closer to nearby attractions. You'll find it three quarters of a mile to the south.
Another location you may want to try is St. Joseph Beach, located three miles to the south-southeast.
