Batalie Beach

Right off a major highway but still secluded by a wall of trees, Batalie Beach is a great compromise of isolation and convenience.

How to Access The Beach
The beach is located right off of Edward Oliver Leblanc Highway, north of Salisbury.

Amenities and Ambiance

Other than the many trees surrounding you, a few villas off to the side, and the occasional kayaker, there is not much to see on the beach; great for a nap or some private swimming in the ocean.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

Batalie Beach is close to Salisbury, so a trip into the city is a definite option. Salisbury is nearby and is in an area with interesting things to do and see, but isn't as sprawling and crowded as some other areas. From the shore, Salisbury isn't far off, maybe a mile (a kilometer and a half).


The number of other people sharing spots in the sand can vary widely, it depends on many factors: the time of sundown, happy hour, even how many people have booked nearby hotels. This beach is not near many large hotels, but you may encounter guests staying at some of the smaller accommodations in the area.
