Pointe Michel

This beach is on the islands eastern side and is fairly popular with travelers and locals because it has soft sand and a good length of shallower water for wading and safe swimming.

Located in Pointe Michel, 2.1 miles northwest of Soufriere, this beach is on the South coast of Dominica. You should consider dropping by whether or not you are staying nearby. Those searching for a somewhat calm, but somewhat social beach on Dominica may want to give Pointe Michel a try. Generally, it's not an overly popular part of the coast, but it's not totally secluded either.

How to Access The Beach
Pointe Michel is south of Roseau and is very easy to find and to access. Head south from Roseau down Victoria Street to Pointe Michel.
