Pointe Michel

This beach is on the islands eastern side and is fairly popular with travelers and locals because it has soft sand and a good length of shallower water for wading and safe swimming.

Located in Pointe Michel, 2.1 miles northwest of Soufriere, this beach is on the South coast of Dominica. You should consider dropping by even if you are not staying very close. How to Access The Beach

Pointe Michel is south of Roseau and is very easy to find and to access. Head south from Roseau down Victoria Street to Pointe Michel.

This beach occupies the coastline alongside a beautiful coastal town, Pointe Michel. It is a gray sand beach on flat land facing the open ocean. It's very close to champagne beach, a famous island snorkeling spot.

The beach is wonderful, but the surrounding area has a lot to offer, too. Look for it on Dominica's South coast. It's located near Waitukubuli Trail: Bellevue Chopin to Wotten Waven, which is one of a few popular spots in the area.
