Bahoruco Beach

Bahoruco Beach is located on the south coast of the Dominican Republic, set right in front of the popular Barcelo Bahuruco Resort. Many of the beach's visitors are guests of the resort, but those who are not enjoy the well kept shore that is cleaned regularly in order to attract tourists.

Located in the Western side of the Dominican Republic, Bahoruco Beach is on the East coast of the Dominican Republic. You might want regardless of whether you are staying very close. How to Access The Beach
You can drive to Bahoruco Beach on Carretera Barahona-Paraiso, which runs parallel to this shore. An eastbound exit road takes you directly to the beach.

Palm trees line the white, sandy shores of Bahoruco Beach. The waters are a stunning topaz, clear, and calm, and a few rocks on the beach give it a rugged feel.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

Bahoruco Beach provides a quiet and peaceful environment, in part because the surrounding area is far from urbanized.

Needless to say, Bahoruco Beach isn't the only beach worth visitng in the Dominican Republic.

Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy Playa de Caracoles, found a little ways off, but can be reached in the car. If you're looking for a more active beach scene, you might find that El Jobo Beach is just right. It's located 15 and a half miles to the northeast.
