These buses regularly travel from the country's capital of Santo Domingo to destinations such as Puerto Plata, Santiago De Los Caballeros, and many others. Most buses only travel to the country's larger cities, so you will need to find another method of transportation if you want to go anywhere else.

Service from Santo Domingo to La Roma is provided by Express Bus and leaves every hour on the hour from 5:00 a.m to 9:00 p.m. Vacationers can not make reservations for these buses, as the bus line has no office or telephone.
