Diamante Beach

Located on the north coast of the Dominican Republic is Diamond Beach, so named because it is the gem of the island. Aside from its obvious beauty, Diamond Beach is a great choice for families because the waters are shallow for about a half a mile, and calm to boot.

Situated in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 4.2 miles south of Cabrera, Diamante Beach is on the North coast of Hispaniola. You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying very close. It's often said that Diamante Beach is one of the best spots for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Most other beaches in the Dominican Republic may be just as pretty, but are usually more crowded since they're located by some of the most popular tourist areas in town.

How to Access The Beach

Diamante is located off Highway 5 just past Cabrera. Road signs will direct you straight to the shore.

Amenities and Ambiance

Diamante Beach cuts a rectangle shape into the north coast of the Domincan Republic, lined by low rock walls on either side and trees on all sides except the one leading out into the ocean. Freshwater streams dump into the lagoon, where the waters vary from teal to turquoise.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site.

If you choose shores that grant an angelic haven, then a good choice for you is Diamante Beach; it's found within a less urban part of Hispaniola.
