Dudu Lagoon Park

Tucked away and surrounded by the forest, Dudu Lagoon Park is a great place for guests looking for an easy to reach eco-attraction. The park is mostly known for its swimming hole, though there are also plenty of other opportunities to have fun.

Dudu Lagoon Park is a man-made park that is augmented by a naturally occurring swimming hole. Eco-tourist are sure to enjoy the beautiful waters and natural feel of the park. However, this is a popular tourist attraction, so do not expect seclusion or privacy.

Most people visit the Dudu Lagoon Park with the intention to go swimming in their refreshing natural pool. However, the park also has plenty of open spaces for children to safely run around, walking trails where guests can stretch their legs, and plenty of spots where thrill seekers can climb, balance, and jump into the lagoon from high above.


Set in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 0.7 miles north of La Entrada, Dudu Lagoon Park invites tourists lodging in this section of Hispaniola. Regardless of whether or not you are staying in this location, you are free to stop by to enjoy a great time. It is 29.8 miles northeast of San Francisco de Macoris.

Right off the main road, the park is easily reached by any form of ground transport. Additionally, it will be easy to find a tour guide or taxi willing to take you here if need be.

Nearby Restaurants

You won't need to be concerned about timing your park visit around meals -- you can find a great concentration of food and beverage places near this attraction. El Babonuco, which has a menu full of American meals, is also the closest restaurant to the park. Micary Cafeteria and Mira Mar Restaurant are some more food and drink options near Dudu Lagoon Park. At Mira Mar Restaurant you and your group should be sure to test out Creole dishes and enjoy the local foods and culture of the Dominican Republic.

Nearby Attractions

Active travelers that enjoy parks, and have the energy to view some others, might check out Cabrera's Central Park and Santuraio De Las Aves; the first is 5.4 miles away from Dudu Lagoon Park. There are at least one or two other attractions nearby, including Cabo Frances Viejo National Park, which is seven and a half miles away the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic.
