Dudu Lagoon Park

Tucked away and surrounded by the forest, Dudu Lagoon Park is a great place for guests looking for an easy to reach eco-attraction. The park is mostly known for its swimming hole, though there are also plenty of other opportunities to have fun.

Dudu Lagoon Park is a man-made park that is augmented by a naturally occurring swimming hole. Eco-tourist are sure to enjoy the beautiful waters and natural feel of the park. However, this is a popular tourist attraction, so do not expect seclusion or privacy.

Most people visit the Dudu Lagoon Park with the intention to go swimming in their refreshing natural pool. However, the park also has plenty of open spaces for children to safely run around, walking trails where guests can stretch their legs, and plenty of spots where thrill seekers can climb, balance, and jump into the lagoon from high above.


Set in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 0.7 miles north of La Entrada, Dudu Lagoon Park invites customers who are rooming in this part of Hispaniola. Regardless of whether or not you are staying in this location, you are free to stop by to enjoy a great time. It is 29.8 miles northeast of San Francisco de Macoris.

Right off the main road, the park is easily reached by any form of ground transport. Additionally, it will be easy to find a tour guide or taxi willing to take you here if need be.

Don't worry if your visit to the park leaves you a bit hungry -- you can find numerous choices of food and drink providers in the general vicinity. The most nearby place to eat to Dudu Lagoon Park is El Babonuco, which dishes out American meals. Micary Cafeteria and Mira Mar Restaurant are a couple other dining options close-by. At Mira Mar Restaurant you and your party can try a bite of Creole fare and experience the culture of the Dominican Republic.

Nearby Attractions

Those who like outdoor parks, and are interested in visiting others, should consider seeing Cabrera's Central Park and Santuraio De Las Aves; the first and closest of which is 5.4 miles away from this park. You'll find at least one or two other places of interest nearby, including Cabo Frances Viejo National Park, which is seven and a half miles away the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic.
