Dudu Lagoon Park

Tucked away and surrounded by the forest, Dudu Lagoon Park is a great place for guests looking for an easy to reach eco-attraction. The park is mostly known for its swimming hole, though there are also plenty of other opportunities to have fun.

Dudu Lagoon Park is a man-made park that is augmented by a naturally occurring swimming hole. Eco-tourist are sure to enjoy the beautiful waters and natural feel of the park. However, this is a popular tourist attraction, so do not expect seclusion or privacy.

Most people visit the Dudu Lagoon Park with the intention to go swimming in their refreshing natural pool. However, the park also has plenty of open spaces for children to safely run around, walking trails where guests can stretch their legs, and plenty of spots where thrill seekers can climb, balance, and jump into the lagoon from high above.


Located in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 0.7 miles north of La Entrada, Dudu Lagoon Park invites residents and tourists rooming in this part of Hispaniola. Regardless of whether or not you are staying nearby, you should consider dropping by for some fun in the sun. San Francisco de Macoris is 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the south west.

Right off the main road, the park is easily reached by any form of ground transport. Additionally, it will be easy to find a tour guide or taxi willing to take you here if need be.

Nearby Restaurants

You can find a fair number of food establishments to pick from in the area near the park. El Babonuco, which has a menu full of American fare, is also the most convenient dining option from the park. Mira Mar Restaurant and Antojos Cafe offer additional dining options close-by where you will be able to enjoy the local cuisine in the Dominican Republic.

Nearby Attractions

Visitors that are a fan of parks, and would like to see others, might consider a trip to Cabrera's Central Park and Santuraio De Las Aves; the first and closest of which is five and a half miles to the north of this page's attraction. Other types of local attractions include Cabo Frances Viejo National Park, which is seven and a half miles away the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic.
