El Corral de los Indios

This monument was built by island natives sometime before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. Much like Stonehenge in England, this circular monument is made of stone in relation to certain astronomical features. Unfortunately the site has been damage over the years through a multitude of factors.

Work has been done to restore and maintain the site, and today guests are free to visit the area and look at the one of the achievements of the early Dominicans.
