Grande Beach

Set on the Dominican Republic's north coast is Grande Beach, a unique beach in that it is popular for both swimming and surfing. The summer months is when the waters are calm enough that swimmers can enjoy the water without being pummeled by waves, while the winter months are perfect for surfers who want to catch waves of u to 12 feet.

Located in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 7.0 miles west-northwest of Cabrera, Grande Beach is on the North coast of Hispaniola. You might want even if you are not staying particularly close by. Do you dream of finding a beach tucked into an untouched part of town? Many visitors seek a beach that isn't surrounded by thousands of hotel rooms; relatively untouched parts of the coast like Grande Beach might not be typical "beach scenes", but are nice and private.
