Isla Saona

Set just of he coast of the Parque Nacional del Este, Isla Saona is one of the most popular beach excursions in the Dominican Republic. You can visit this island as a part of a tour, or hire a local fisherman to take you, then spend a day relaxing on the warm sand and splashing around in the gentle surf.

Positioned in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, Isla Saona is on the South East coast of Hispaniola. You should consider dropping by even if you are not staying in the vicinity. Starfish, manatees, turtles, dolphins, and even sharks all swim these waters.

You won't have to worry about finding a bathroom at Isla Saona because there are public restrooms. In addition, you'll have access to lounge chairs at this beach. Fortunately, the water here is clear enough for snorkeling, so grab your equipment if you've been hoping to get in some underwater exploration.

Off the beaten path, Isla Saona with its availability of amenities and services will likely be a hit for guests wishing to be free from the crowded shores, since it is situated within a calm region. Because of this, the availability of certain amenities shouldn't be negatively affected.
