Vacationers who seek a stunning shoreline in a secluded part of town should consider visiting La Entrada Beach.

A five miles long, the gold sand covered shore of La Entrada Beach is one of the longest in the Dominican Republic. Boca Del Rio, a river that begins in the mountains of Maria Trinidad Sanchez ends here, dumping fresh water into the beach, which creates a unique dynamic within the turquoise sea water.
Please note that public restrooms are not available, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

The nearest region of Hispaniola to this beach is. This interesting part of Hispaniola is only a mile from the beach, meaning it doesn't have to be a terribly lengthy excursion. This area of the Dominican Republic is an area with plenty to do, but yet isn't overcrowded.
The crowdedness of the shoreline can vary widely, depending on when you visit, and how many hotel rooms have been booked nearby. The area is not home to many major hotels, but it can attract guests staying at some of the area's smaller options.

La Entrada Beach could be the ideal stretch of sand, but it is possible that it may not be the best choice for your family; in which case there are other beaches (and other outdoor attractions) worth trying.
