Las Pirámides

Las Piramides translates literally to, 'The Pyramids". While travelers who stumble upon the impressive stone pyramid may assume it is native in origin, it is actually a modern structure. During his reign, Trujillo has the pyramid built to mark the center of the island of Hispaniola, which Haiti and the Dominican Republic share.
