Amenities and Ambiance

The size of Maimon Beach enables it to change quite a bit depending on where you are along the coast. At one point, it is a resort beach, where you will find mainly guests of hotels. A little bit further and it is used as solely a boat ramp. Finally, as you keep going, it gets a bit more natural, with mangroves going along the shores and a river running right into it.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside. You'll find the waters off-shore to be clear enough for snorkeling, so grab your equipment if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.

If you happen to desire shores that grant a relaxing environment, then you may want to try Maimon Beach; it is located within a less urban sector of the region.
