Playa Almendros

Full of trees and bordered by rough waters; Playa Almendros is not your average beach. Those coming here generally only use it as a starting point for kayak expeditions.

Located in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 0.8 miles south of Boca Canasta, Playa Almendros is on the South edge of Hispaniola. You might want whether or not you're staying nearby.

How to Access The Beach
If you decide to head over to Playa Almendro, you will need to simply take Avenida Fabio Herrera south out of Bani as far as it goes.

Amenities and Ambiance

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

If you tend to enjoy shores which offer visitors a peaceful haven, then you should enjoy Playa Almendros; it's tucked away within a more rural section of the region.
