Playa Anadel

Located in the Samana Peninsula, Playa Anadel is on the South edge of Hispaniola. You might think about stopping by even if you are not staying nearby. It's often said that Playa Anadel is one of the best spots for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Most other beaches in the Dominican Republic may have the same warm sand and calming breezes as Playa Anadel, but tend to be busier because they're frequented by tourists looking for a lively scene.

Amenities and Ambiance

For your convenience, restrooms are available at Playa Anadel. In addition, lounge chairs are available for use at this destination. Fortunately, the water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring along some equipment if you want to see the underwater world.

Another option worth considering is Las Galeras Beach, located ten miles away.

Perhaps Playa Anadel is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; in which case you should find a beach with a seclusion factor that suits you.
