Playa de Nena

One of the many spots of sand along the North Coast, Playa de Nena is a natural beach offering plenty of privacy.

Located in the Western side of the Dominican Republic, 4.3 miles east of Luperon, Playa de Nena is on the North edge of the Dominican Republic. You might want whether or not you are staying in the vicinity. This beach is not just a pleasant attraction, it's special in that it's one of the few quiet beaches in the Dominican Republic. While Playa de Nena may be a little harder to reach, it allows you to relax without being bothered by the noise of the crowds.

How to Access The Beach
Luckily there is a nearby village, so you will be able to take some roads the entire way. However, they are dirt roads, and there is no paved or official parking when you reach the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

While there are many natural beaches in the north, this one is a bit more green, with dense trees popping up throughout the entire journey here. However, this does not detract to the wonderfully clear water, which mixed with only gentle waves, make it a pretty good snorkeling spot.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline.

Playa de Nena offers those who visit an idyllic and serene haven, especially since the surrounding area is more rural than urban.
