Playa Madama

Located at the very tip of La Samana, Playa Madama is a calm cove protected from the large waves of the Atlantic. Visitors will find it perfect for swimming, playing, relaxing, or really anything, as the calm and crystal clear water and soft sand are inviting all around.

Located in the Samana Peninsula, 3.3 miles northeast of Arroyo Del Cabo, Playa Madama is on the East-Northeast coast of Hispaniola. You might think about stopping by whether or not you're staying in the immediate vicinity.

How to Access The Beach
When on Samana, simply head East. At the end you will find a dirt road that take you right to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

Despite all the beauty that Playa Madama has to offer, it its a bit small and an easily become crowded. Luckily, its distance makes it less visited than other beaches.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot. You'll find the waters off-shore to be fit for snorkeling, so grab some equipment if you're hoping to see what lies beneath the surface.

If you prefer sunny days which bring visitors a calm experience, then you may want to try Playa Madama; it is back within a more natural section of Hispaniola.
