Playa Quemaito

Complete with the pristine beauty that the Dominican Republic is known for, Playa Quemaito is a top of the line tropical beach with the peacefulness of a remote beach. While you will have to travel a bit to get there, the nearby amenities, easy access, and little crowds make for a good day.

Located in the Western side of the Dominican Republic, Playa Quemaito is on the South edge of the Dominican Republic. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying very close.

How to Access The Beach
Getting to the beach is relatively easy. You will need to take the Carretera Barahona-Paraiso South out of Barahona. Once you pass the hotel El Quemaito, the beach will be soon to follow.

Amenities and Ambiance

While there are plenty of amenities nearby, once you cross over to the beach, you will feel as if the road was miles away. The delicate sea breeze and shimmering water make the beach nothing short of paradise. So come and relax to the sound of waves, where the only thing that will disrupt the view is a kayak bobbing in the water as it passes by.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, so those of you traveling with small children may want to consider another spot.
