Redona Beach

Redona Beach is a very large arching cove that can be found on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Despite its exquisite beauty, the journey required to the reach the beach has kept it a hidden gem.

Located in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 4.6 miles east-northeast of Miches, Redona Beach is on the North East coast of Hispaniola. You might want whether or not you are staying in the vicinity. This beach is not just beautiful, it also has a private beach feel——a unique quailty in a touristy place like the Dominican Republic. While Redona Beach may be a little bit out of the way, it allows you to relax without being bothered by the noise of the crowds.

How to Access The Beach

When traveling on Route 104 between Miches Las Lisas, there will be a dirt road which only goes to Redona Beach. After leaving Miches heading East, you will eventually come across a small, but concentrated town that abruptly stops on the East end. Also on the East end is a dirt road heading North. That is the road that will take you to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

There is nothing on the beach except sand, and you and your group are likely to be the only people on the beach.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site.

If you tend to prefer coasts that bring visitors a relaxing environment, then a good choice for you is Redona Beach; it is back in a less urban area of the region.
