Redona Beach

Redona Beach is a very large arching cove that can be found on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Despite its exquisite beauty, the journey required to the reach the beach has kept it a hidden gem.

Situated in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, 4.6 miles east-northeast of Miches, Redona Beach is on the North East edge of Hispaniola. You should consider stopping by regardless of whether you are staying very close. This beach is not just a tropical beauty, it is one of the more unique and quiet beaches in the Dominican Republic. While Redona Beach may be a little farther away, it's a pleasure to find an undisturbed plot of sand like this one.

How to Access The Beach
When traveling on Route 104 between Miches Las Lisas, there will be a dirt road which only goes to Redona Beach. After leaving Miches heading East, you will eventually come across a small, but concentrated town that abruptly stops on the East end. Also on the East end is a dirt road heading North. That is the road that will take you to the beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

There is nothing on the beach except sand, and you and your group are likely to be the only people on the beach.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

If you usually desire sunny days which provide a relaxing environment, then think about trying out Redona Beach; it's located within a much quieter part of Hispaniola.
