Rogelio Beach

Backed by one of Bahia Principe's all-inclusive resorts, Rogelio Beach is quiet and clean, if not crowded by resort guests. The beach serves as a nice locale to lay out and soak up some sun as well as splash around in the calm surf.

Positioned in the Eastern side of the Dominican Republic, Rogelio Beach is on the North edge of Hispaniola. You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying very close. The area surrounding the beach is not very urbanized, however, the beach itself has plenty of appeal.

Rogelio Beach features tan colored sand and deep aquamarine waters. The beach is dotted with palm trees, lounge chairs, and umbrellas, and just off shore is a coral reef that protects the coast, keeping strong waves at bay.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

Positioned on the Dominican Republic's North coast; it's located near attractions like Club Bahia Principe, which is pretty close, so you may choose to walk to this destination, while some will prefer to take a cab.

The closest town is Rio San Juan, which is not an overly urbanized area, but still has its fair share of things to do. From the coast, Rio San Juan is not far away, about four miles (six and a half kilometers).

If you visit the beach around lunchtime the area around this beach has plenty to offer, so there's no need to go too far away. El Chiringuito Italian Restaurant is one of the closest eateries. The restaurant serves delicious Italian cuisine. Visitors often rave about their pasta and pizza. You'll have the option of walking or taking a cab since it's not far off the beach at all.
