Santuario de San Marting de Porres

A pilgrimage sight for the world's Catholics, El Santuario de San Martin de Porres (Sanctuary of Saint Martin of Porres) is named after and dedicated to the New World's first black saint. The sanctuary is actually a church made completely from stone; making this shrine a unique experience for all.

The church has a very unique and basic appearance to it. Being a saint of the poor, Saint Martin de Porres and his fellow clergymen lived a basic life in poverty, and the church shows it. Nonetheless, it is still grand and inspiring in its own right, and is unlike any church or building you will see.
