There are four par-3 holes at the West Course which, as a group, are more difficult than those found elsewhere on the four-course complex. All of them are under 200 yards, but sloping greens and a seemingly impenetrable morass of bunkers make them especially difficult to manage. Water also plays a very important role here. But no matter how frustrating your round of golf gets, the picturesque setting will be sure to keep your spirits light.
Built in 1958, this course in Puerto Rico has become a classic spot for a round of golf. Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed the golf course. The golf course features a course rating of 70.5, and its 18 holes stretch out a length of 6086 yards. Also note that there's a golf professional, Miguel Colon Jr., available who can help first-timers practice their swing or give more advanced instruction for trained players.
The creatively designed West Course is definitely one the most picturesque courses in the Caribbean. It's also one of the toughest. The course runs in a variety of directions, making it sometimes difficult manage the winds coming off the Atlantic Ocean.
