Dorado Beach West Course

There are four par-3 holes at the West Course which, as a group, are more difficult than those found elsewhere on the four-course complex. All of them are under 200 yards, but sloping greens and a seemingly impenetrable morass of bunkers make them especially difficult to manage. Water also plays a very important role here. But no matter how frustrating your round of golf gets, the picturesque setting will be sure to keep your spirits light.

Course Description

This golf course has made itself a well-established place to tee off, having been founded in 1958. The course layout, difficulty of the holes, and bunkers reflect the design of Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the lead architect of this golf course. It features a course rating of 70.5, and its 18 holes stretch out a total of 6086 yards. Also be aware that there's a pro, Miguel Colon Jr., available at the course ready to help newbies work on their skills or offer advanced lessons for experienced golfers.

The creatively designed West Course is definitely one the most picturesque courses in the Caribbean. It's also one of the toughest. The course runs in a variety of directions, making it sometimes difficult manage the winds coming off the Atlantic Ocean.
