At over 130 miles long, the Abaco Reef is the third largest barrier reef in the world, and visitors of Elbow Cay have extremely easy access to this reef system. You can sign up for an open water dive that will take you right to the site, and for those who aren't PADI certified, you can take courses while on the island that will typically include a dive at the reef in the end so that you don't miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

If you want to go diving, you should consider Dive Abaco. Everything scuba -- and snorkeling -- is available through Dive Abaco. This includes all of your certification courses, a number of different dive trips, equipment rentals, underwater photography, night dives, and more. They are found within Marsh Harbour, West of Elbow Cay.
Another option is Froggies Out Island Adventures. Although Froggies specializes in scuba diving training and excursions, they also offer snorkeling and sightseeing tours. You can call them at (242) 366-0431.
