Nathan’s Bay Beach

The tiny Nathan's Bay Beach does not offer much room for people looking to play on the beach. However, if you plan on simply laying out in the sand or enjoying the cool water, Nathan's Bay will suffice.

Located on the northern side of the island of Elbow Cay, You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by.

How to Access The Beach
You will need a boat if you want to visit this beach. While it is accesible by car, you will still need to get onto Elbow Cay first, and that will need to be by boat.

Amenities and Ambiance

There is a line of trees that back the beach, offering guests plenty of shade from the hot sun. However, there is not much sand between the trees and the water, so be careful of the tides or you might get wet. With that said, if you are planning to get wet then this is a great beach. The water here is as clear as it comes in the Bahamas.

Also, you have the option of trying the restaurant located right on Nathan’s Bay Beach. Every destination has its own unique cuisine, and the Bahamas is no different. One of the most enjoyable places to sample the local fare is right on the water. Did you know that some hotels are happy to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Or, it would be easy to grab some hot food from a street vendor or casual cafe along the way.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside. You'll find the waters off-shore to be clear enough for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you want to see what lies beneath the surface.
