Located near the middle of the island of Eleuthera, 1.5 miles northwest of North Palmentton Point, Browney Beach is on the South East coast of the island, You might want to drop by regardless of whether you're staying nearby. If you're looking for a quiet part of the coast, away from crowded tourist attractions, you should check out Browney Beach, a pretty, but less popular part of the coast.
The beach is accessible by car is just opposite the town of Governor's Harbour on Eluthera's long, skinny middle.
Long and straight, this beach is picture-book Bahamas with its gorgeous turquoise waters and soft, fine sand. The beach is long and wide and surrounded on both ends by rock formations which make for an interesting climbing experience if you have proper shoes.
Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.
If you find that you go for coasts that provide a serene enclave, then you will want to try Browney Beach; it's back within a much quieter section of Eleuthera.
You'll find this beach on the South East coast of Eleuthera. It's located near Big Tree at Palmetto Point, which is seen a mile and a half away, and it is among the attractions in the region.

Browney Beach is near Governors Harbour, so a trip into the city is a definite option. Governors Harbour is the closest city and is an interesting area that brings together the quietude of the Caribbean and the urbanization of city life. From the beach, Governors Harbour is just up the road, maybe three and a half miles (five and a half kilometers).
How many other people you encounter at Browney Beach will depend on if you visit during a popular season, which is often indicated by how busy the hotels are. Browney Beach is not located near many major hotels, but you may meet visitors staying at some of the area's smaller options.

Eleuthera has several beautiful beaches, so if Browney Beach doesn't sound like your type of scene, you have options.
Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy South Palmetto Point, situated just a short distance away. On the other hand, could provide a little more opportunity for excitement, and is closer to other popular destinations. It's found a mile and a half to the east-southeast.
You may also want to consider Tippy's Beach, which is located only a short distance away.
