Holiday Beach

This infrequently visited beach is a surfers haven and is located adjacent to the aptly named Surfer's Beach.

Located near the heart of the island of Eleuthera, 1.3 miles north of Alice Town, Holiday Beach is on the North West coast of the island, You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you're staying particularly close by. It's often said that Holiday Beach is perfect for escaping the hustle of The Bahamas' urban areas. Other nearby beaches you'll come across in the Bahamas may have the same warm sand and calming breezes as Holiday Beach, but are usually more cramped since they're located by some of the most popular tourist areas in town.

How to Access The Beach
Take the road that heads north from - and away from - Alice Town. You'll need a 4X4 if you wanna drive all the way there, but the walk isn't too bad.

Amenities and Ambiance

The coast at this stretch is rockier than Surfer's Beach, but the wave quality is the same, and should be surfed only by experienced surfers.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, though you may be able to use the facilities at a nearby business.

Holiday Beach grants a calm and tranquil environment, thanks to the fact that the surrounding region is more rural than urban.

The closest part on Eleuthera to Holiday Beach is Alice Town. This destination is just one and a quarter miles from the shore, which means a trip here doesn't have to take all day. Keep in mind that is not very urbanized, so for guests who want to scope out the local scene, this section in the Bahamas should provide an interesting experience.

Eleuthera has many nice beaches, and Holiday Beach is just one option.

You might also enjoy Pink Sands Beach, found 13 miles to the northwest. Prepare to be swept away by the gorgeous shores of the Bahama's Pink Snds Beach. If you're looking for a more active beach scene, you might find that Hamilton Land Beach is just right. It's found one and an eighth miles to the east-southeast.

Vacationers may also want to visit Twin Beaches, which is located three miles to the southeast.

Perhaps Holiday Beach is the most convenient coastline for you to visit, but some travelers itch to explore more; in which case you should keep looking for a beach or natural attraction that suits your vacation style.
