Lover's Beach

Perhaps the most private beach on Elruthera, the beach is known for panoramic views of the Atlantic.

Situated just outside the heart of the island of Eleuthera, 1.1 miles north of Gregory Town, Lover's Beach is on the North West coast of the island, You should consider dropping by even if you are not staying particularly close by. This beach isn't just another pleasant afternoon distraction, it is one of the more unique and quiet beaches in the Bahamas. While Lover's Beach may be a little more trouble to reach, it provides a rare chance to escape crowds of tourists.

Lover's Beach is located on the north coast of Eleuthera Island, down a long dirt road from Queen's Highway.

Lover's Beach is long and wide, with powdery white sands and dark blue waters. On the beach are several brightly colored tires and spray painted trees, while from shore you can see cliffs.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

If you find that you choose shores that offer a relaxing haven, then you will want to try Lover's Beach; it is tucked away within a more rural section of the region.
