Exotic and secluded, Plum Creek Beach is located on a series of small cays off the South side of Eleuthera Island.

Situated on the southern coast of the island of Eleuthera, 3.2 miles west-southwest of Green Castle, You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you're staying particularly close by. It's often said that Plum Creek Beach is the ideal location for getting away from vacation stresses, like overly crowded restaurants and attractions. Many of the other beaches in the Bahamas may have the same pleasing, tropical setting as Plum Creek Beach, but are usually busier because they're right around the corner from the area's major hotels and resorts.

How to Access The Beach

Assuming you're on Eleuthera Island and in the right general vicinity, Plum Creek Beach is not particularly difficult to reach. Look for the first dirt road adjacent to a church, immediately after the 'Welcome to Deep Creek' sign. However, the road does run the risk of flooding and the beach is NOT accessible at high tide. Be sure to find out current conditions prior to heading over there.

Amenities and Ambiance

Stretching along a series of cays that are barely connected, this beach is absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by the crystal waters of the Bahamas and soft white sand for as far as the eye can see, there are not many beaches that can contend with Plum Creek in terms of offering nothing short of paradise.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

If you usually go for beaches which offer a tranquil place to escape, then think about trying out Plum Creek Beach; it is found in a less urban section of Eleuthera.

With its spectacular ocean views and white sandy beaches, spending the day at this beach will be one of the most memorable and peaceful days of your entire vacation. Hiking, snorkeling, swimming and stunning sunset views are all available at Plum Creek, making it a magical place hidden away on Eleuthera Island.
