Located on the island of Eleuthera, 5.7 miles southeast of North Palmentton Point, Savannah Sound Beach is on the Southeast edge of the island, You should consider dropping by whether or not you're staying particularly close by. Visitors will be surprised to realize that about half of what appears to be the shoreline is actually completed submerged under the clear water. The water is so clean that is is hard to tell well the dry land actually ends.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location.

Savannah Sound Beach grants a quiet and serene place to escape, especially since the surrounding region is not heavily urbanized.

There aren't any restaurants in the vicinity of this beach, so it would be a good idea to pack a lunch if you want to fully enjoy your day in the sun.

Eleuthera has many beaches, so Savannah Sound Beach is not your only option.

You might also enjoy South Palmetto Point, situated a quick car or cab ride away. If you're on the lookout for more active and social, you might find that Ten Bay Beach is just right. It's found one and a quarter miles to the north-northwest.

You might also want to visit Unique Village Beach, which is located reasonably close-by, so a short cab ride is an easy option.
