Smugglers Beach

A small beach, Smuggler's Cove mainly caters to the visitors and locals staying in the villas and houses directly surrounding the beach. However, outsiders are welcomed to enjoy this gem.

Positioned near the heart of the island of Eleuthera, 3.1 miles east of Alice Town, Smugglers Beach is on the Northwest coast of the island, You should consider stopping by even if you aren't staying in the immediate vicinity. Beachgoers should keep in mind that, though Smugglers Beach isn't considered a quiet and secluded part of the coast, you wouldn't necessarily call it a busy beach either. This makes it a good option for families who want to make the most of their trip to the beach without getting stuck in the most crowded parts of town.

How to Access The Beach
Just a little off of Queen's Highway, Smugglers Beach is easy to reach. However, you will need to park on the side of the road, as there is no real parking area.

Amenities and Ambiance

A line of white sand surrounded by darker rocks and dirt, Smugglers Beach is perfect spot for those in the area.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

If you find that you like coasts that offer visitors a relaxing place to escape, then a good choice for you is Smugglers Beach; it's back in a less urbanized sector of Eleuthera.
