Smugglers Beach

A small beach, Smuggler's Cove mainly caters to the visitors and locals staying in the villas and houses directly surrounding the beach. However, outsiders are welcomed to enjoy this gem.

Situated near the middle of the island of Eleuthera, 3.1 miles east of Alice Town, Smugglers Beach is on the Northwest edge of the island, You might want to drop by even if you aren't staying nearby. Visitors will find that, although Smugglers Beach is by no means secluded, it's also not one of The Bahamas' most crowded beaches. It's the perfect choice for those of you who want to visit a somewhat lively beach but wish to stay away from the most populated spots.

How to Access The Beach

Just a little off of Queen's Highway, Smugglers Beach is easy to reach. However, you will need to park on the side of the road, as there is no real parking area.

A line of white sand surrounded by darker rocks and dirt, Smugglers Beach is perfect spot for those in the area.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.

If you tend to desire shores which provide a tranquil place to escape, then maybe head on over to Smugglers Beach; it is hidden away within a more natural part of the region.

The nearest part on Eleuthera to Smugglers Beach is Alice Town. This destination is just three miles from the beach, meaning you needn't use up an entire day here.
