Twin Sisters Beach

One of the most tropical beaches in the Bahamas, Twin Sisters Beach is known to have some of the clearest and calmest water, and some of the softest sand. If you happen to be on Eleuthera Island, then this is not a beach to miss.

Located on the island of Eleuthera, You should consider dropping by regardless of whether you're staying nearby. It's often said that Twin Sisters Beach is the ideal location for escaping over-crowded hangouts in the town proper. Other nearby beaches in the Bahamas may have the same pleasing, tropical setting as Twin Sisters Beach, but tend to be busier because they border some of the area's most popular resorts.

The beach is located off of the Queen's Highway, just before entering North Eleuthera.

Backed by trees, Twin Sisters Beach grants guests plenty of privacy, and the shallow clear water gives them the best chance to cool off.

Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, so if you're visiting with small children you might want to consider a different location. The water in the area is of good snorkeling quality, so bring your gear if you're wanting to check out the underwater sites.

If you happen to favor sunny days which bring visitors an angelic place to escape, then you should enjoy Twin Sisters Beach; it is located within a much quieter area of Eleuthera.

Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy Pink Sands Beach, situated five and a half miles to the north-northwest. Prepare to be swept away by the gorgeous shores of the Bahama's Pink Snds Beach. More active guests, though, may be interested in Bottom Harbour Beach, which could provide a few more possibilities for excitement, and is closer to other popular destinations. It's located two and a half miles to the northwest.
