Whale Point Beach

Tucked into the inside of a large cove, Whale Point Beach features some of the calmest ocean water you will find. Combined with the quiet area and the accessibility of the beach, Whale Point is nothing short of a tropical paradise.

Set on the northwestern coast of the island of Eleuthera, You should think about stopping by even if you are not staying nearby. It's often said that Whale Point Beach is the ideal location for escaping the hustle of The Bahamas' urban areas. Most other beaches you'll come across in the Bahamas may be just as refreshing as Whale Point Beach, but are usually more cramped since they're right in the thick of tourists' favorite hangouts.

While Whale Point Beach is tucked away into a cove through a forest, the roads to the beach are relatively well maintained, and there should be no difficulties getting to the beach.

Whale Point Beach is shrouded from the outside world from a a small forest that envelopes the area, opening just long enough for some sand.

Unfortunately, you won't find any public restrooms along this coastline, but you may be able to find facilities at a nearby business.

Whale Point Beach offers visitors an angelic and serene enclave, due to the fact that the region surrounding the beach is far from urbanized.

Found on the Northwest coast of Eleuthera. It's located near the Cove Eleuthera and any nearby accommodations, which can be found four miles away, making it one of the closest hotels accessible from Whale Point Beach, despite the lack of other popular spots in the vicinity.

Dunmore Town is the closest town and is a region with interesting things to do, yet is never overly congested. From the shore, Dunmore Town is a quick trip away, about two and a half miles (four kilometers).

Travelers who like this beach might also enjoy Pink Sands Beach, located two and a half miles to the north. Prepare to be swept away by the gorgeous shores of the Bahama's Pink Snds Beach. But, if you're interested in a more active beach, you might enjoy people watching at Bottom Harbour Beach. It's located three quarters of a mile to the south.

Another option worth considering is Gaulding's Cay Beach, located three and a half miles away.

Whale Point Beach could be the ideal stretch of sand, but it is possible that it may not be the best choice for your family; if so, there are other beaches and natural attractions in the Bahamas you might like.
