Tucked into the inside of a large cove, Whale Point Beach features some of the calmest ocean water you will find. Combined with the quiet area and the accessibility of the beach, Whale Point is nothing short of a tropical paradise.
Located on the northwestern side of the island of Eleuthera, You should consider stopping by whether or not you are staying nearby. This beach is not just another beautiful natural attraction, it is one of the more unique and quiet beaches in the Bahamas. While Whale Point Beach may be a little farther away, it allows you to relax without being bothered by the noise of the crowds.
While Whale Point Beach is tucked away into a cove through a forest, the roads to the beach are relatively well maintained, and there should be no difficulties getting to the beach.
Whale Point Beach is shrouded from the outside world from a a small forest that envelopes the area, opening just long enough for some sand.
Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.
Whale Point Beach provides a calm and relaxing getaway, in part because the surrounding area is free of city-life and traffic.
This beach is positioned on the Northwest coast of Eleuthera. Guests might consider staying at the Cove Eleuthera, which is found fairly close-by. A quick cab ride should put you in the right spot to check out the area, perhaps the most conveniently located hotel near Whale Point Beach, though you may not find too many additional popular spots in the area.

Whale Point Beach is in thearea, so a trip into the city is a definite option. Nearby, you'll find the city of Dunmore Town, which is a region with interesting things to do, yet is never overly congested. From Whale Point Beach, Dunmore Town is just up the road, maybe two and a half miles (four kilometers).
The mood here——social and lively, or virtually empty—— will depend on many factors, including the capacity of nearby hotels. Whale Point Beach is not near very many major hotels, but you may see visitors from some of the smaller accommodations in the area.

Because restaurants near the beach catch the freshest seafood and the balmiest breezes, don't miss your chance to enjoy a meal at a nearby restaurant, where you'll be able to dive into The Bahamas' specialty dishes, without going too far from the coast. Acquapazza is one of the closest eateries. The restaurant has both Italian and Mediterranean menu items. They have become well-known, however, because of their pasta and seafood. You'll find it a mile and a half away.

Eleuthera has many beaches, so Whale Point Beach is not your only option.
If you like the ambiance at this beach, you might also like Pink Sands Beach, situated two and a half miles to the north. Prepare to be swept away by the gorgeous shores of the Bahama's Pink Snds Beach. If you're looking for a more active beach scene, Bottom Harbour Beach may be just what you're looking for. You'll find it three quarters of a mile to the south.
Another location you may want to try is Gaulding's Cay Beach, which is located three and a half miles to the southeast.
Whale Point Beach could be the ideal stretch of sand, but it is possible that it may not be the best choice for your family; if so, the Bahamas offers a variety of beaches for travelers who wish to try elsewhere.
