Located toward the center of the island of Eleuthera, 1.8 miles southeast of Tarpum Bay, Winding Bay Beach is on the South-Southeast edge of the island, You should consider dropping by even if you are not staying nearby. The long arching beach is protected from the main road by a dense collection of trees, though anyone coming to Winding Bay will see plenty of villas lining the sand. Additionally, because of the villas, Winding Bay Beach does have the potential of becoming crowded, though on most days you will have plenty of space.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside. You'll find the waters off-shore to be fit for snorkeling, so bring along some gear if you want to do some underwater exploration.

Winding Bay Beach offers those who visit an angelic and serene enclave, thanks to the fact that the region surrounding the beach is more rural than urban.

While this coastal destination is not exactly the area's culinary epicenter, you'll still have some choices, especially if you are willing to venture a little out of the way.
