Winding Bay Beach

Frequented mainly by the villa residents that stay right on the sand, Winding Bay Beach is an ideal getaway spot, as you join the tourist who are looking simply to relax and enjoy the tropical breeze.

Located on the island of Eleuthera, 1.8 miles southeast of Tarpum Bay, Winding Bay Beach is on the South-Southeast coast of the island, You should consider stopping by regardless of whether you're staying very close. For a change from the usual crowded beach spots, you should venture a little farther from the city, and a little closer to Winding Bay Beach.

How to Access The Beach

There is a road dedicated to Winding Bay located just off Meridian Highway.

Amenities and Ambiance

The long arching beach is protected from the main road by a dense collection of trees, though anyone coming to Winding Bay will see plenty of villas lining the sand. Additionally, because of the villas, Winding Bay Beach does have the potential of becoming crowded, though on most days you will have plenty of space.

Unfortunately, restrooms will not be available here, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside. The water here is clear and good for snorkeling, so grab some equipment if you are looking to do some underwater exploration.

Winding Bay Beach offers a quiet and serene experience, since the region surrounding the beach isn't too crowded at all.
