Riding the Ferries

Visitors can connect to Antigua's smaller sister isle of Barbuda via the Barbuda Express, which takes off from St. John five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. The ferry leaves from Antigua at 9:00 a.m., then returns from Barbuda at 3:45 p.m. The ride lasts for 90 minutes, and costs EC$260 or $96(USD) for adults and EC$200 or $81(USD) for children round trip. Day trips from Antigua don't have to be limited to just the island of Barbuda. There is a ferry that leaves from the ferry terminal in English Harbour four days a week that offers a two hour trip to the British-ruled island of Montserrat. Montserrat Ferry offers the service for EC$300 or $110(USD) for adults and EC$150 or $55(USD) for children round trip, and you can sail on Mondays and Thursday through Saturday.
