Pigeon's Beach

Located on the northwest coast of Nelson's Dockyard National Park, Pigeon's Beach is a welcomed mix of natural beach and an easy-to-access beach. Visitors will be able to lay out in the sand, swim in the clam waters, or simply stay for a while and watch the maritime traffic as it heads to Falmouth Harbor.

Located in Falmouth Harbour, Pigeon's Beach is on the South coast of Antigua. You should think about stopping by whether or not you are staying in the vicinity. Pigeon's Beach may be one of the few active beaches in Antigua that's usually not over-crowded. If you prefer to avoid Antigua's quiet, secluded beaches, but also want a little space to spread out, this beach offers a nice middle ground.

How to Access The Beach
Getting to Pigeon Beach is easy. Simply take Dockyard Drive south into the National Park. Once in the park, take the first turn west that you can (any sooner and you'll drive off the island and into the harbor). That road will take you to Pigeon Beach.

Amenities and Ambiance

With the many tropical trees lining the beach, it is not hard to find shade, though heading a little closer to the water will allow you to grab all the sun you want. In addition to swimming, the calm water that can be found at the beach also make it a popular spot for kayakers to being their journey, so you will likely see some of them.

Please note that public restrooms are not available, which is something to consider if you plan to spend a full day in the sun.

You should remember that Pigeon's Beach is in an area which is a bustling area, so make sure to get a spot!

Visitors will find this beach on the South coast of Antigua; the area is home to other attractions such as Shell Shot, which is not very far away, so some guests will want to walk to this attraction, while others will choose to take a cab.
