Half Moon Beach

Just 10 minutes from the popular resort town of Negril, vacationers will find a whole different kind of world at Half Moon Beach. Not busy and crowded at all, Half Moon Bay offers tranquility to visitors who need to relax without distraction. For those who feel that a day on the sand isn't enough, camping is allowed. It is also important to know that nudity is permitted here.

Positioned along the western outskirts of Falmouth, Half Moon Beach is on the North West edge of Jamaica. You might want regardless of whether you are staying nearby. Though it's removed from some of the more heavily traveled areas, many tourists choose this beach since it has such a relaxed atmosphere.

How to Access The Beach
You can access Half Moon Beach by taking A1 to Rodney St, then following a dirt road straight to the sand.

Amenities and Ambiance

Not quite a crescent-shape, Half Moon Beach exists as an indent in the coast. Verdant trees line some parts of the beach, which enjoys white sand and deep blue waters.

Unfortunately, public restrooms aren't available, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside.

Half Moon Beach is always a lovely side-trip when you're in the area. Look for it on Jamaica's North West coast. It's located near Albert George Market, which is found a half mile away, and it is one of the attractions in the region.

If you want to combine culture with your visit to the beach, you should consider a trip to Outameni Theme Park, one of the closest museums, so it would be an easy side trip to take after the beach.
