Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium

Trelawny Stadium was built in 2007 under an agreement between Jamaica and China. Today, it still hosts events of all sorts, providing entertainment for the community.


The stadium can hold up to 25,000 people, meaning that large scale events are possible here. The stadiums feature sporting event is cricket. Alterations have been made to the stadium in order to accommodate for the sport. Musical events and conferences also occur. If you are in visiting the area, it may be worth it to see if you can catch an authentic Jamaican cricket game.

A big event that is hosted here is the Trelawny Food and Music Festival. Big names in music come to perform while guests feast on the food offerings from local vendors. Guests can even enjoy carnival rides and water slides.

Trelawny Multi-Purpose Stadium is found on the northern side of Trelawny Parish, in Jamaica; it's two miles (three and a half kilometers) to the southeast of Falmouth.
