Boat Rentals and Charters

If you'd like to do some independent sailing, but don't necessarily want to make the journey all the way from your home country, it is possible to hire out a boat for a few hours, or even for the duration of your trip.  Make sure to research your options.  Some companies have top of the line yachts, while others purchase their boats from the larger operations when they upgrade their line up.

Docking

Fort de France is a great choice of destination for those heading to Martinique aboard their own vessel because it serves as the island's official port of entry.  To gain clearance, you'll need to present the original registration papers and passports for everyone aboard.  Then you'll be able to sail to your marina or choice.  There are four different marinas either in Fort de France or within just a few miles.
