Slightly less developed than the other major settlement on the island of St. Croix, Frederiksted  is noted for its waterfront shopping district.  Sightseeing will allow visitors to tour a rum factory, botanical garden, cultural museum and historic church; while if you head down to the shore you will hardly have trouble participating in watersports like sailing, fishing, and diving.

Known for its surperb offering of column coral, Frederiksted is a popular choice for divers seeking the same quiet feel of Coral Bay, while still keeping the amenities of Charlotte Amalie. Also note that diving right of the pier can be great practice for beginning divers.
