Bahamas Princess Emerald Course

The course winds about through a residential area in southern Freeport, and is in a convenient location for golfers staying the most frequently visited parts of the island. Close to the coast, guests will have some nice ocean views as they enjoy a relaxing morning/afternoon on the course.

Course Description

This course has become a classic spot to tee off, having been founded in 1964. The greens, hole placement, and bunkers are all part of the design by Dick Wilson, the lead architect of this golf course. It features a course rating of 72.3, and its 18 holes measure out to a total of 6679 yards. Also be aware that they've got a pro, Jef Becker, available ready to help novices perfect their swing or provide advanced pointers for trained players.

The fairways here are relatively narrow, and can be dangerously curvy. Playing next to dense woods at times and local residences at others, errant shots can be difficult to make up for. Water will come into play on a number of holes, which might add even more challenge to the round.
