Bahamas Princess Emerald Course

The course winds about through a residential area in southern Freeport, and is in a convenient location for golfers staying the most frequently visited parts of the island. Close to the coast, guests will have some nice ocean views as they enjoy a relaxing morning/afternoon on the course.

Course Description

This course has become a classic location to play some holes, founded in 1964. The lay of the land, holes, and feared sand traps all came from the imagination of Dick Wilson, the architect of Bahamas Princess Emerald Course. The golf course features a course rating of 72.3, and its 18 holes stretch out a distance of 6679 yards. Also note that there's a golf professional, Jef Becker, handy ready to help newbies practice their skills or give more advanced help for competent golfers.

The fairways here are relatively narrow, and can be dangerously curvy. Playing next to dense woods at times and local residences at others, errant shots can be difficult to make up for. Water will come into play on a number of holes, which might add even more challenge to the round.
