Frigate Bay Attractions

Frigate Bay is an interesting destination on the island of St. Kitts.  At first glance, it is home of “The Strip” the most popular resort, dining, and nightlife area on the island.  If you look closer, however, there are less superficial things to be discovered about this stunning peninsular town.

Frigate Bay South

You will find several beaches to choose from in and around the area. Snorkeling is available at some of the beaches, if some members of your party enjoy this relaxing pastime. Just click on the name of the beach to get additional information concerning that part of the coast.

If you are looking for a place to snorkel, a beach where that is an option is Frigate Bay South. Heading south from the Marriot resort on the Atlantic side, you'll reach a roundabout. Going straight through will take you to the Caribbean coast and put you right on the beach.

Another location to consider is Frigate Bay North. The north section of Frigate Bay is much more extensively developed than the southern part, and is home to the Marriott Resort & Casino. Constantly humming with activity, you'll find entertainment here day or night.

Half Moon Bay: Accessing the beach can be difficult as it is surrounded by the Royal St Kitts Golf Course, but it's possible by heading south along the coast from nearby Conaree, or by going north on the road that runs alongside the Marriott.

Needless to say, the area is home to a wide range of beaches to choose from in and around the area. For more in-depth coverage of this topic, read this article.
