The north section of Frigate Bay is much more extensively developed than the southern part, and is home to the Marriott Resort & Casino. Constantly humming with activity, you'll find entertainment here day or night. The surf is much choppier here on the Atlantic side as compared to the nearby Caribbean side, but swimming is still a possibility for those up for more of a challenge.
Located in the eastern outskirts of Frigate Bay, Frigate Bay North is on the South East coast of St. Kitts. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. Travelers who prefer walking over driving to their next destination will probably like Frigate Bay North. It's within walking distance of so many hotels and activities, and isn't far from the city's major hubs.
Take Pond Rd east from Basseterre. Take a right at the first roundabout. You'll reach a second roundabout, at which you'll take a left, and finally a third, where one more left will put you on a road running parallel to the beach.
Curving gently along the peninsula's coast, Frigate Bay North is flanked on either side by rock formations, the most impressive of which being on the southern end. The sand on the Atlantic side is fine and golden in front of the resorts and condominiums, and the ocean views are spectacular.
Even if you plan to dine elsewhere, the snack bar on-site could come in handy.
Keep in mind that restrooms won't be found on-site, which is something to consider if you're bringing the kids, or plan to spend all day outside. Luckily, umbrellas and chairs can be used by guests looking for relief from the sultry island sun.
Frigate Bay North plus its offering of amenities and services will be found well within an area popular for visitors. If you would rather stay free of busy-beaches and crowded shores, there is a good motivator to think ahead against other visitors, perhaps having your beach visit first thing in the morning. If you do not, you possibly find all those comforts becoming already claimed by other guests.
Frigate Bay North is on the South East coast of St. Kitts. It is close to Royal St. Kitts Casino, which is seen a quarter mile away, and it is among the area's attractions.
