Bacchus Fine Foods

Foodies love this place. It doesn't matter if you prefer to dine out or if you prefer to obtain excellent ingredients and create a delicacy yourself, since Bacchus Fine Foods is a gourmet and organic market that also features a café. Hidden behind a large stone wall, they provide Governor's Harbour with delicious cuisine and high quality groceries from Europe and the Americas, and they use many of these ingredients in preparing the foods on their menu.

For breakfast, guests can fill up on hot ricotta pancakes, eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles and poached eggs. Lunches are usually fresh salads with either grilled chicken, shrimp, tenderloin or other additions. There is also chicken curry salad, wraps and sometimes guests are treated to Indian food. To quench your thirst, coffees, teas, soft drinks, wine by the glass or bottle and beers are also available.

In addition to being a delicious café, Bacchus Fine Foods is also a high quality food market. Many of their items are imported from Europe or the United States, providing western tourists with food that reminds them of home. They have peppers, cheese, meats, oils, spices, spreads, seafood, rice, pasta, drinks, canned foods, fresh fruit, chocolates and other produce.

There is a shaded open air terrace where guests can enjoy breakfast or lunch; there is also a large Buddha fountain that guests can lounge and dine by. Inside, the vivid yellow walls match the cheerful colors of the fresh fruits and vegetables. A display case is filled with enticing treats and pastries that are made in-house.
