Asú on the Beach

Asu, meaning “sunset” in Taino, the language of the Arawak Indians who resided in the Turks and Caicos centuries ago, fittingly describes Asu on the Beach- this beachfront restaurant, which flaunts a prime sunset view of the Caribbean Sea.

Asu on the Beach serves delicious, casual Caribbean and popular international fare. The restaurant is helmed by Executive Chef Alexander Powell, who hails from the east coast of the United States and who has a résumé that boasts such work as training chefs for famed restauranteur Jean-Georges Vongerichten and overseeing kitchens of five star properties. Restaurant patrons are sure to swoon at his culinary prowess.

If you check out the menu at Asú on the Beach, among other options you'll find seafood served with Caribbean flair. The formality of the menu and service to expect from this restaurant is very casual. Diners are welcome to come by to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so your family can enjoy this option at almost any meal.

In homage to its island roots, Asu on the Beach offers diners the option of barefoot dining in the sand while surrounded by illuminated baskets and the starlit sky or inside in the newly renovated dining room where the design aesthetics combine a relaxed environment and chic, contemporary décor. Also at Asu on the beach are a private dining space and new, open concept kitchen where diners can peek at the culinary masterpieces being curated.
