Grace Bay Beach is often considered one of the best in the Caribbean for its perfect blue waters and powdery white sands, and in 2013, TripAdvisor went so far as to name it the second best beach in the world. The beach reclaimed this title in 2014, proving its consistency. Watersports such as parasailing and windsurfing can be found along the shore. There are no public facilities, but there are a number of resorts with restaurants along the shore that cater to beachgoers.

Set toward the western outskirts of Grace Bay, this beach is on the East coast of Providenciales. You should consider dropping by even if you aren't staying particularly close by. If you prefer to escape the buzz of the city, it's good to know that beaches here are generally pretty quiet. Then again, some vacationers seek out the loudest and the most active areas, and are more likely to have fun at Grace Bay Beach, which is closer to all the action.

How to Access The Beach
Grace Bay Beach is accessible just off the main thoroughfare, Lower Bright Road, near the Provo Sailing Club. Follow the dirt road passed the club until you find parking.

Amenities and Ambiance

This twelve mile beach on the northeast coast of the island will thrill guests with its soft white sands and sparkling waters. Grace Bay Beach, a popular spot, is known as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, however, its length makes it easy to find a secluded spot and lounge along the shore.

You could always try the restaurant right on the water, if it suits your taste. There are so many dining experiences to be enjoyed in Turks and Caicos, but dining at the beach can be especially fun. Ask your hotel about picnic lunches, as some hotels offer to pack snacks for their guests' day trips. Or, on your way to the beach you could grab some carry-out from a casual dining spot.

There is also a concession stand available. If available, you could also try local specialties from one of the mobile vendors who typically set up on this shoreline.

Restrooms are available at Grace Bay Beach. The water in the area is clear and good for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you're looking to see some exciting marine life. The popularity of this beach attracts many guests - some stay in the resorts along the shores - but the beach is rather long and it is easy to find a spot away from the crowds.

Grace Bay Beach plus its availability of comforts are of course found well within a tourist hotspot. Unless you do not mind crowds, it's an appropriate idea to think ahead against other visitors, perhaps coming in the morning. Otherwise, you may not be able to use the amenities which this beach offers.
