Grace Bay Beach

Grace Bay Beach is often considered one of the best in the Caribbean for its perfect blue waters and powdery white sands, and in 2013, TripAdvisor went so far as to name it the second best beach in the world. The beach reclaimed this title in 2014, proving its consistency. Watersports such as parasailing and windsurfing can be found along the shore. There are no public facilities, but there are a number of resorts with restaurants along the shore that cater to beachgoers.

Located along the western outskirts of Grace Bay, this beach is on the East coast of Providenciales. You should consider dropping by whether or not you are staying particularly close by. Eventually, visitors notice that beaches throughout Turks and Caicos tend to be pretty quiet, but Grace Bay Beach is the exception.

How to Access The Beach
Grace Bay Beach is accessible just off the main thoroughfare, Lower Bright Road, near the Provo Sailing Club. Follow the dirt road passed the club until you find parking.

Amenities and Ambiance

This twelve mile beach on the northeast coast of the island will thrill guests with its soft white sands and sparkling waters. Grace Bay Beach, a popular spot, is known as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, however, its length makes it easy to find a secluded spot and lounge along the shore.

You could always try the restaurant right on the water, if it suits your taste. There are so many unique restaurants in Turks and Caicos, but you don't have to eat every meal in a formal setting. Some vacationers would rather eat lunch by the shoreline than in a different restaurant. Did you know that many hotels are able to pack picnic lunches for their guests? Otherwise, you could easily grab some of Turks and Caicos' famous street food along the way.

The concession stand on-site could come in handy, even if you plan to have lunch elsewhere. Sometimes, visitors will be able to order some food from one of the mobile vendors who typically set up on this shoreline.

This beach has public restrooms——something you'll appreciate if you spend more than a couple of hours here. The water in the area is fit for snorkeling, so bring your gear if you're looking to see some exciting marine life. The popularity of this beach attracts many guests - some stay in the resorts along the shores - but the beach is rather long and it is easy to find a spot away from the crowds.

Grace Bay Beach as well as its availability of conveniences happens to be found inside an area popular for visitors. Taking that into consideration, if your ideal vacation means the amenities can make or break a good time, naturally, it's an appropriate idea to make it earlier in the day before most of the crowds or try a beach away from the major areas. If you wait around, you possibly risk all of the services becoming unavailable.
