Turks & Caicos National Museum

The Turks and Caicos National Museum is an independent non-profit organization that maintains a wonderful collection of artifacts pertaining to the history of the Turks and Caicos.


Here, you can learn about local histories including everything from natural history to ship wrecks, the slave trade, salt industry and everyday life on the island. They also offer tours of the immediate area. You can enjoy a class that teaches guests the art of traditional weaving or even tour the Heritage House.

There are a couple of close-by out-of-doors enterprises to enjoy during down time, when you are not viewing Turks & Caicos National Museum. Operating Hours

This location is open Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. On holidays, they are closed. Tours are offered during open hours at 9:15 a.m., 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12:15 p.m.
