With 50 miles of beaches snaking around the island, Grand Bahama has the most beaches of any of the islands in the chain. They range from secluded stretches of sand near the Lucayan National Park, to activity beaches where snorkeling, windsurfing, and kayaking are popular. These beaches are easily found along the northwest coast.
You'll discover a large selection of beaches to enjoy on the island. Whether you enjoy people watching, or you'd rather have more of the beach to yourself, you can find what you want. For more detail concerning any one of these beaches simply click on the names of the ones you are interested in.
Gold Rock Beach: The beach stretches on for miles - the first sight of its gentle white sand and waters containing many shades of blue is bound to make your jaw drop. You can take a tour to nearby Ben's Cave, go snorkeling, or just immerse yourself in the views.
Another location worth considering is Coral Beach. White sands stretched out in front of Coral Beach Resort, with stunning turquoise waters lapping the shores, making it a beautiful place to enjoy a day at the beach.
Fortune Beach: The beach looks out onto aquamarine, shallow waters, fit for swimming and snorkeling. There are always plenty of places to put down a towel and hang-out in the sand, which you'll wanna do for hours.
