Reminiscent of the south of France, the beaches in Grand Case not only allow you to hear strains of locals speaking the language, but they offer the same vibrancy, with bright umbrellas protecting beach-goers from the sun.  One thing most tourists appreciate is that there is free parking both along the street and at a lot nearby.

Which Beaches Are Available?

You will discover an abundance of beaches to visit in and around the area. Snorkeling is an option at some of the beaches, for vacationers who enjoy the underwater scene. You can click on the name of each beach to get additional information about that particular stretch of sand.

Friar's Bay Beach

Happy Bay: A small beach with stunning white sand and crystal clear waters, this is one of the most hidden and secluded beaches on the island, but perhaps not for long. In 2014, it was listed as one of the Best Secret Beaches on Earth by Travel + Leisure Magazine.

A second option for beach-goers to consider is Petite Plage. Calm turquoise waters and shady sea grape trees typify this beach.

Anse Marcel: Anse Marcel is a beautiful beach, completely tucked away in a bay, with some of the brightest blue waters I've ever seen. The sand is soft and white and the shape of the bay calms the waves into gentle ripples.

The table directly below summarizes more details regarding the beaches that can be found in and around the area.
