The west coast of Grand Cayman, which is where the famed Seven Mile Beach is located, is known for its gorgeous beaches filled with soft sand, backed not by palms but by pines, and normally calm waters. Around the rest of the island, there are other smaller beaches that spot the landscape and offer a more private setting without lacking the high quality of their more popular counterpart.
You will find a large selection of beaches to consider visiting on the island. Whether you enjoy people watching, or you prefer a more secluded spot, you're likely to find what you want. Just click on the name of the beach for more information concerning that part of the coast.
Water Cay: With unspoiled white sands, a sandbar and beautiful paths to tour the cape, this is a lovely beach locale.
A second option to consider is Smith's Cove. Extraordinary snorkeling opportunities are available at Smith's Cove and trees line the small beach, providing large pockets of shade. It's sometimes populated with Cayman locals.
Frank Sound Beach: This is a naturally pretty beach, with mangroves and driftwood and crooked palm trees. Its a popular spot for fly fishing.
