Thanks to the flat terrain and good road conditions, getting around on the back of a bike or scooter is certainly possible on Grand Cayman. Some accommodations offer bicycles free of charge to their guests, but if this isn't possible you'll find rental agencies all over the island which allow you to get around on two wheels, whether or not they are motorized. Just remember: helmets are required no matter which option you choose.
If you are thinking about experiencing the wind in your face, you will encounter a variety of different businesses that can help.
If you're ready to go riding, you can check with Cayman Auto Rentals. Conveniently located within walking distance of the cruise ship docks, Cayman Auto Rentals offers not only regular cars but scooters and bikes as well. Although anyone can benefit from renting a scooter or bike, they are especially popular amongst cruisers who will be spending just a few short hours in town. They are found within Georgetown, in western Grand Cayman.
A second option is West Bay Loop. The West Bay Look guided tour lasts for three hours and takes you past Seven Mile Beach, the beaches of Barkers National Park, Boatswain's Bay, and Hell Post Office. They can be reached at (345) 939-0911.
A third option is Cayman Cycle Rentals. Known as one of the most reliable bike and scooter rental companies on Grand Cayman, Cayman Cycle is located on West Bay Road and offers a nice variety of road and mountain bikes as well as scooters. They're located within Seven Mile Beach.
